Kajabi page titles & meta descriptions implementation.
Implementing titles and descriptions on your Kajabi website can be a little bit tricky. There are 3 ways to implement your titles and descriptions. All 3 depend on what type of page you are working on, such as System pages, Website pages and Landing pages
Landing pages: These are the most customizable and easy to implement.
In your Kajabi dashboard click > Website > Pages > Landing
Each page has three dots on the right side, click > … > Edit details
Scroll down and you will see “SEO and social sharing” section. Here you can type in your title and description.
When done, click > Save button at the bottom right corner.
Website pages: These are similar to landing pages with one difference
In your Kajabi dashboard click > Website > Pages. On the right side of the page click > … > Edit details
General - Page title - the page of the name is also the page title, unlike the landing pages that can have a different name in the Kajabi dashboard
When done, click > Save button at the bottom right corner.
System pages: these are the prebuilt pages that are baked into every Kajabi website. Most of the system pages do not allow individual page titles and meta descriptions. There are few exceptions tho (blog, podcast) You can see in the image below the title and description field is slightly grey and does not allow you to click into the text field.
How to implement your titles and descriptions then? These are done all in bulk - meaning you implement one via the settings.
In you Kajabi dashboard > Settings > Site details. Scroll to the bottom and you will see “SEO and social sharing” section
Here you can type in you title and description - this is the one that will show on your homepage and all the system pages.
Blog - you can change the title and description in your Kajabi dashboard click > Settings > Blog Settings
System pages having the same titles and descriptions across most pages is not optimal for SEO and we hope Kajabi will allow edits to more system pages in the future.
